Once pre-construction and construction gets underway, hundreds of new jobs will be created. These will include unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled jobs in construction as well as specialist jobs specific to marine engineering and marine construction.
Specifically, the types of jobs that will be available include: labourers, electricians, welders, masons, heavy equipment operators, ironworkers, planners, crane operators, as well as administrative staff, labourers, divers, skilled tradesmen, project management, engineers, foremen and operators etc.
The cruise berthing facility will continue to create hundreds of jobs for local people and provide decades of increased employment opportunities. This is a huge opportunity for the people of the Cayman Islands.
